Adam Lambert was on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week.

If you don’t know who Adam Lambert is, you will soon.

To my knowledge, Adam Lambert is the first American Idol contestant ever to be featured on the cover of a popular magazine before the season was over.

The reason: he is a true standout.

Yes, he has a great voice. Yes, he walks the walk of a rock star. Yes, he smiles into the camera with a sparkle in his eye.

And yes, it’s also true that no one knows his sexual orientation, which adds to his mystique. But none of these reasons are why he was on the cover. Read the rest of this entry »
